Prošli tjedan započeli smo suradnju na novom europskom projektu RISK CHANGE u Mariboru, gdje je održan inicijalni kick-off sastanak (6. i 7. srpnja 2016.), na kojemu je sudjelovao i MMSU kao jedan od 10 projektnih partnera. Domaćin i organizator sastanka jest multimedijski centar KIBLA iz Maribora.

RISK CHANGE je projekt koji će tijekom četiri godine (2016 – 2020) raditi na kreiranju, povezivanju, uspoređivanju i promoviranju europske suvremene interdisciplinarne umjetnosti povezane s društvenim studijima, primijenjenim znanostima i migracijama, a s ciljem izgradnje mreža i povezanosti između migranata i lokalnog stanovništva. Jedan od brojnih ciljeva je svakako promišljati i sudjelovati u izgradnji migracijskih politika u Europskoj uniji, ali i šire koristeći inovativne medijske i post-medijske umjetničke prakse. Osim toga, projekt RISK CHANGE povećat će transnacionalnu mobilnost, raditi na razvoju publike u smislu podizanja tolerancije i uključivosti, te će inzistirati na interakciji s različitim ciljanim skupinama migranata.

Navedeni ciljevi ostvarit će se kroz organizaciju i pokretanje umjetničkih rezidencija, konferecija, simpozija, radionica, izložbi, otvorenih laboratorija, mobilne aplikacije, nove kulturne mreže o čemu smo raspravljali na kick-off sastanku, dogovarajući se oko hodograma aktivnosti za naredne četiri godine. Svaki od partnera projekta će, u odnosu na nacionalne prilike i migracijske politike razvijati umjetničko-istraživački program koji će u fokus stavljati integraciju migranata u lokalnu zajednicu.

Projekt je sastavni dio programske linije Kitchen – Centra za kreativne migracije u sklopu programa Rijeka 2020: Luka različitosti.

Nositelj projekta je KID KIBLA, a osim MMSU-a među ostalim partnerima na projektu su i: RIXC (Riga, Latvija), ACAX/League of Independent Art Spaces (Budimpešta, Mađarska), 7scenes (Amsterdam, Nizozemska), ZINC (Marseille, Francuska), FOPSIM (Zejtun, Malta), MSUV – Muzej savremene umetnosti Vojvodine (Novi Sad, Srbija), Department of Philosophy and History of Science, School of Science (Sveučilište u Ateni, Grčka), The Mighty Creatives  (Leicester, Engleska).

Last week we started a cooperation on a new European project RISK CHANGE in Maribor, Slovenia, were the kick-off meeting was held (on 6th and 7th July, 2016). MMSU participated at the meeting as one of ten project partners. Host and organizer of the meeting was multimedium center KIBLA from Maribor.

RISK CHANGE is the four year project (2016 – 2020) that is going to create, connect, compare, and promote contemporary EU interdisciplinary art related to social studies, applied sciences, and migration, building connectivity between newcoming migrants and settled inhabitants. One of many project goals is to think about and participate in building the new migration policies in EU and wider, using innovative medium and post-medium art practices. Besides, RISK CHANGE project will increase transnational mobility, audience development in the context of raising tolerance and inclusiveness, and it will insist on interaction with target groups of migrants.

Mentioned goals will be realized through organization and starting of art residencies, conferences, symposiums, workshops, exhibitions, open labs, mobile application, new cultural network – that we talked about at the kick-off meeting, arranging the time table of activities for next four years. Every one of the project partners will, according to national and migrational policies, develop art and research program which goal is integration of migrants in local community.

The project is integral part of program line Kitchen – Center for creative migrations within program Rijeka 2020: Port of Diversity.
